The Walton Career Closet (Career Closet) opened in August 2010 as a resource of upscale, gently used business casual and business professional attire available, free of charge, to all currently enrolled Walton College students. The Career Closet can help students with their professional dress needs whether it may be for an interview, a career fair, office visit, or on the job.
Location: Willard J. Walker Hall 418
Hours of Operation: The Career Closet is open Tuesdays from 10am-12pm and Wednesdays from 1-3pm throughout the fall and spring semesters. The Closet is by appointment only throughout the summer and winter breaks. Call our office (479-575-6100) to schedule a visit during the breaks.
How It Works: Currently enrolled Walton College students can visit the Career Closet and take (for free to keep) up to 4 individual apparel items (i.e. 3 ties and 1 shirt, or 2 blouses, 1 skirt and a of pair shoes) per semester or 1 suit during an academic year. The clothes you take are yours to keep – for free.
Donations: Donations are accepted for the career closet on an ongoing basis. Career Connections staff will accept cleaned business casual and business professional attire that is of good or excellent quality and is with the current fashion. Donations are tax deductible.
