International Internships

International Internship Opportunities

An international internship during college offers a multitude of benefits that can significantly enhance a student’s academic and professional development. Firstly, it provides an invaluable opportunity to gain practical, real-world work experience in a global context, allowing students to work alongside professionals in their field of interest and learn about different work practices and expectations. This exposure not only enhances their understanding of their chosen career path but also helps them develop a global perspective, sensitivity, and cross-cultural communication skills. Furthermore, interning abroad can also contribute to personal growth, language skill improvement, and it can be done while earning academic credit, making it a truly enriching and transformative experience for college students. Overall, an international internship offers a unique and exciting way for students to gain a competitive edge in the global job market while broadening their horizons and enhancing their professional and personal skills.

The information below contains information and resources about the upcoming internship opportunities students are encouraged to look into. Students also can complete their internship and earn academic credit through one of Walton’s internship credit courses.
