I’m Lindsey, the Senior Director for Walton Career Services. My role oversees and leads our career center. I’m focused on developing and maintaining our relationships with corporate and community partners to advance student employment outcomes, and am working to grow opportunities for students to have internships and full-time roles after graduation. I also work with employers to ensure the programming and curriculum we’re offering to students has them prepared to enter the workforce.

I am the Lead Career Consultant for the Walton College of Business, specializing in supply chain and marketing. For the last 12 years, I have worked in corporate talent acquisition, and I’m passionate about helping students confidently take the next steps in their career journey. My background in talent acquisition has given me an inside look at how organizations make hiring decisions, and now I use that insight to support students are they prepare for internship opportunities or life after graduation.
Throughout my career in talent acquisition, I’ve partnered closely with hiring managers, evaluated countless resumes and interviews, and coached professionals at every stage of their careers. Now, I use that insight to help students stand out in today’s competitive job market.

Hi! I am a Career Consultant in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, where I support students majoring in Management, Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Venture Innovation (SEVI), and Undecided Majors. In my role, I provide guidance, coaching, and career-focused programming to help students explore opportunities and confidently navigate their career paths.
With a background in Human Resources, I bring a strong understanding of hiring practices, professional development, and workplace expectations, allowing me to better prepare students for success. I am passionate about empowering students as they discover their interests and take the next steps in their careers.

Before moving into higher education, I spent several years in supply chain and technical recruiting, partnering with companies to hire for complex roles. That experience gave me a behind-the-scenes look at what employers are really looking for and what helps you stand out.

Hello there! I’m Evan, Career Consultant with the Walton College of Business, specializing in Economics and Information Systems.
I have nearly two decades of experience in the areas of Recruiting and Talent Acquisition, and I’ve been fortunate to gain exposure to a variety of different career paths, employers, and industries. My background also includes developing strategic outcomes for people seeking vocational employment assistance, as well as advocating for individuals with disabilities and special job needs.

Internship Coordinator
As the Internship Coordinator for Walton College, I oversee the application process for our internship credit courses by supporting both students and employers throughout the process. Additionally, I instruct internship credit courses as I facilitate the educational component of a student’s internship credit. I’m passionate about connecting students with experiential learning that will ensure they are well-prepared to make strong, confident impressions in any professional setting.
Sarah Kern
I’m Sarah Kern, and as the Associate Director for Career Connections, my work is all about connecting students with the resources they need to launch their careers. I manage the logistics for all career-related programming for students in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, including our Business Career Fairs, Resume Rescues, Perfect Pitch Workshops, and Signing Day. I am proud to oversee the Career Closet, a vital resource for professional attire and to lead our Walton Career Connections Ambassador program, where student mentors provide essential career readiness coaching to their peers. It is a privilege to play a role in a student’s journey toward professional success.
